This elegant Prosecco Brut Rosé DOC “Argeo” by Ruggeri comes from a prevalence of Glera grapes combined with a lower percentage of Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir has been cultivated in Alto Adige since 1850 and is also known locally as “Blauburgunder”. It is the most important red wine of the winery. It has always been a great challenge for every winemaker: it is demanding on the soil and the climate, but also in the workmanship in the cellar. For the Pinot Noir Sanct Valentin, part of this line since 1995, only the best vineyards and the oldest plants are used. Minimal yields and careful care guarantee an elegant and extremely sensual wine, which is characterized by structure, balance and fine tannins. It has an extraordinary aging potential.
