Mostly aged in concrete vats, Avarum in the Vacqueyras appellation, is a blend of Grenache and Syrah. We find an intense and generous nose, with notes of black fruits and spices. The mouth, full of freshness, is rich and ample, with silky and elegant tannins, for a long smoky finish. A delight!

The vineyard of Lesquerde is constituted of hill top plains and slopes which are made of granitic soil. Its 350m altitude provides a unique terroir. This is the latest terroir to be harvested (by hand) because of the altitude and nature of soils.
