Vignobles Lassagne encompasses these three properties: Château des Arnauds (the original estate), Château des Landes and Château Maltus, the latest addition to the Vignobles Lassagne.
This “different” wine is vinified like in Georgia, where the grapes remain in contact with the wine during 4 months in amphora. A vinification that can also be called “orange wine”, a really different wine!

History tells us that the origin of the Château Maltus goes back to the Middle Ages, in the time of the crusades.
The Order of Malta, well implanted on the land named Lalande de Pomerol, cultivated vines for the first time on the grounds of the Château Maltus.
Nicolas Lassagne acquired this parcel in 2015 of sixty-year-old vines with the purpose of producing this richly dense wine.
Ambre de Maltus is a very high-quality white wine worthy of the greatest Bordeaux white wines. A special attention is paid to the vineyard, as well as to the cellar to produce this cuvée. The alcoholic fermentation happens in French oak barrels, as well as a daily stirring during its ageing.
Antoine’s grandfather, Gerard Clément, was one of the most respected winemakers in the region and one of the founders of the ‘Menetou-Salon’ appellation. He is still present on the domain and for Antoine he was and still is his great inspiration and example.
As a winemaker, Antoine feels like a conductor who transforms the soil into music. Every wine must be a natural reflection of its soil and requires sustainable agriculture to achieve this. The winegrower is the cement between the grape variety and the final wine.
He does not want to manipulate the wine, but only to accompany it gently. That is why all grapes are picked by hand, only gravity is used and no yeasts are added to get the fermentation going.
Friends since school, Anthony Aubert & Jean-Charles Mathieu challenged themselves to create a range of wines in their image, by bringing a touch of originality and modernity to their cuvées. Created in 2018, they are part of an eco-conscious approach, more transparent and more sustainable. This commitment is evident from the vine to the bottle with organic cuvées or in conversion.
Carbon neutrality is the brand’s primary commitment.
In 2022, 70% of all the cuvées will be certified by an environmental label. Eco-responsible packaging comprehends recycled and lightweight glass bottles, sustainable caps, labels and boxes. Sustainable viticulture makes possible to plant hundreds of trees each year works and to safeguard and protect the bees, its environment and the beekeeping heritage of Languedoc.

The Côtes de Gascogne appellation in southern France is blessed with an ideal climate for the production of fresh fruity white wines.
The grapes come from vineyards located in Villa Alegre, 285 km south of Santiago, in Maule Valley. This place has a Mediterranean-like climate, with mild winters and dry summers, with marked range of temperatures between day and night.
This allows the grapes to get ripe tannins, as well as excellent aromas and color concentration. Soils are a combination of sand and volcanic ash and the flat terrain gets and superb sunlight exposition. Yields are carefully controlled to produce concentrated wines, excellent quality and elegance.

Today at Château Rieussec are grown the three symbolic vines of Sauternes, sémillion, sauvignon and muscadelle, carefully following traditional techniques, both in the vineyard and in the winery: the result of this commitment leads to the creation of rich, deep and dense wines, which conquer and fascinate from the first sip, thanks to the great variety of organoleptic characteristics expressed in the glass.

The fruits for La Cantera Sauvignon Blanc come part from the red sandy loam soil of “Lo Vásquez” planted on a hillside and part from Olivos Camino’s vineyard located 18 km from the Pacific Ocean at 250 meters of altitude. Château des Landes is a family vineyard created in 1952, on the Lussac Saint Emilion appellation zone.
At the beginning, Paul Lassagne started with only 2 hectares and worked by night at a local roof tile factory, and by day on his little property with vines, land and pasture.
Situated in the commune of Martillac, this 20-hectares property once belonged to Baron de Montesquieu. Today, the estate is owned by Mr. Eric Perrin which also owns the famous Château Carbonnieux. Because of its special localization, its terroir and the choices of winemaking in the vineyard and the cellar, the Château Haut-Vigneau plays between the greatest ones.
This Haut-Vigneau blanc is quite characteristic of the terroir and the appellation of the AOC Pessac-Léognan.

The white grape varieties of Château La Verriere Sauvignon Blanc are harvested very early in the morning at temperatures allowing the grapes to be vatted to follow a skin maceration of 12 to 18 hours. Comte de Gironde has been owned by the Comin family for over a hundred years and since 2003 it is one of the daughters and her husband who together run the business with plantations of around 50 hectares of vines.
