Vignobles Günther-Chereau Queue de Morue Muscadet-Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie

A family estate with character: two passionate women, Véronique & Aurore, mother & daughter, are at the head of this estate, which works in a family tradition and continuity for several generations.
Authenticity & passion: the purity of the terroirs and the wines, the minerality and sharing through tasting are key positions.
Expertise & elegance: the excellence of the terroirs and the finesse of our Muscadets have always been the watchwords.

Queue de Corue (or “Tail of Cod”) comes from the name of the plot given internally for years. It evokes a plot in a triangle and slightly sloping and therefore more difficult to work. It is a gabbro terroir which brings freshness and salinity. However, the very sunny vintage and the harvest date bring this wine to notes of yellow fruits. This is usually the last plot harvested of the vintage.

Vivens Margaux (Château Durfort-Vivens 2nd wine)

Located between the villages of Margaux, Cantenac and Soussans, the vineyard of Durfort-Vivens seats on the ridge of deep gravels. These gravels were brought by the Garonne river in the Quaternary era. This great terroir offers early maturity and allows the Cabernet Sauvignon to fully express finesse and silky tannins, a guarantee of freshness and elegance typical of the great Margaux, also in their second wine Vivens.

Despite his youth, this Vivens 2015 offers an accomplished expression of richness, elegance and the harmony of a magnificent Margaux. 2015 is the fourth year of applying biodynamic methods to the entire vineyard.

Weinhaus Cuba Am Rhein Pinot Noir Aslan

Many people associate Cuba with the Caribbean, cigars, rum, dance and music! The combination of the sound of the wine, which grows on steep slate slopes, with the “Sound of Cuba”. “Cuba villula”, today’s Kaub, was first mentioned in 938 in a Veronese foundation. This is where Marcel and OAna founded the Cuba am Rhein winery .

The slate rock is the decisive factor that makes this wine so unique. Slate heats up quickly, storing heat and releasing it at night. On the other hand, the folded shale rock retains moisture. This influences the ripeness of the grapes and the minerality in the wine.
