Deep dark, limpid red colour.
The nose opens with a very aromatic nose that develops black cherry and wine soaked peach notes, enhanced by a delicate wood.
On the palate it offers a round attack, followed by a supple tannic structure on a medium-body. The finish is nicely long and slightly toasted.
12 months in barrels.
Try it with steak, especially Japanese-style steak dishes, roast duck, Christmas turkey. Macaroni cheese and cheddar are the best combinations with cheese.
