Château Corbin is one of the oldest estates in St. Emilion. In fact, it dates back to the 15th century. More recently, bringing Chateau Corbin into the modern era, in 1924, Château Corbin was purchased by the Great Grandparents of the current owners, the Cruse family. The beautiful chateau was constructed in the 1800s. During the late 1990s, Anabelle Cruse and her sisters purchased the shares of Château Corbin from the other family shareholders and took over complete ownership of the estate.
In each and every vintage, the wines of Château Corbin are the fruit of true luxury craftsmanship. Carefully tended vines, a meticulous selection of the grape bunches and slow barrel ageing are prerequisites in the Corbin method to ensure longevity in its wines. Each vintage is a journey of its own, in which the senses travel to and fro between elegance and complexity.
Château du Tertre takes its name from the superb group of graves, culminating point of the Margaux appellation, on which is erected the castle. This millennial property of 52 hectares (of which 18 are grown biodynamic) enjoys worldwide renown thanks to the prestigiousGrand Cru Classé de Margaux title it has had since 1855.
The arrival of Eric Albada-Jelgersma, the current owner, in 1997 will profoundly mark the field. A restructuring program and heavy investments have restored its reputation to Château du Tertre. This program has resulted in upgrading technical equipment, reducing yields and setting up a new team. Under the direction of Alexander Van Beek ,Eric Boissenot for winemaking, the vineyard has significantly increased the quality of these wines, giving Château du Tertre its character and nobility, where silky and freshness are combined to bring you the elegance expected of a great Margaux wine.
Château Kirwan is an estate located in Cantenac, not far from the city of Bordeaux and the river Garonne, in a terroir where man and nature have been living together harmoniously for hundreds of years.
The Château, built in 1751, was one of the few Medoc properties that Thomas Jefferson, the future third President of the United States, visited on his Bordeaux wine tasting trip in France and mentioned in his diaries written in 1780. Mark Kirwan passed away in 1815 and over the centuries it passed from hand to hand through several owners, until, during the early years of the twentieth century, it was acquired by a family of “negociant”, the Schyler and Schroder, which moved to Bordeaux in 1738 and still in business today.
With 40 hectares divided into 46 parcels that wind within the territory of the AOC Margaux, it is clear and obvious how the keystone of this Château, over the years, has always been the terroir and its strong identity. Its wines have a characteristic soft, gentle attack, followed by a very Margaux lacework of flavours. Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot provide Kirwan’s main wine with a multi-layered structure that is very big, tempered by the roundness of the Merlot and the delicate elegance of the Cabernet Franc.
Like all great vintages, 2015 offers fine balance. The alcohol is imperceptible and perfectly balanced by a refreshing natural acidity. The tannins give the wine a velvety unctuousness. In the end, the wine is wonderfully fruity and refined, with a gourmand, tactile character that far outshines it simple potency. 100% Margaux.
Château Lalande-Borie was created almost entirely in 1970, through the purchase of a 30 hectare third growth plot in the Saint Julien appellation. The name Lalande-Borie combines the names of the plot on the land register and a great winegrowing family who have been established in the Médoc for more than a century and own several prestigious grands crus: Ducru-Beaucaillou, Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Haut-Batailley.
Lalande-Borie’s wines are vinified and matured with the same techniques, the same care and same spirit as those produced by the Borie family’s other properties. The winery buildings were fully renovated in 1982. The modern vat room and cellar facilities are designed for optimal vinification.
Château Lalande-Borie has acquired a very good reputation in a relatively short space of time and produces fleshy and sappy wines, not overly tannic, where we find the balance and elegance of Saint-Julien wines.
At the gates of Pauillac, Château Lynch-Bages now represents a symbolic history of the Medoc. Born in 1691 by the hand of John Lynch, an Irish nobleman in exile, the winery was implemented by John’s son, Thomas Lynch, who managed the company with wisdom and foresight from 1749 to 1824, producing excellent wines initially known as ” Cru de Lynch ”, later classified as Grand Cru at the Paris Exposition of 1855.
Having become the property of the Cazes family in 1939 and led by the outstanding Jean-Michel Cazes since 2007, Château Lynch-Bages’ style has established itself, and this reflects Pauillac’s identity with an extraordinary depth and richness, thanks above all to Jean-Michel Cazes.
The estate takes its name from the tower which stands in the main courtyard of the château; it is the remnant of a fort built in the 12th century by the ancestors of Montesquieu. The structure occupied a strategic position and controlled the route between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The stones of the fort were used to build the existing château at the end of the 18th century.
Thanks to the long involvement of generations of the Kressmann family, and the recognition shown in 1953 by the classification of Graves, the wines of Château LaTour-Martillac feature among the best of Pessac-Léognan.

After years of research and selection, Lapostolle is now launching a Single Vineyard wine from Apalta: Parcelle 8.
It is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with extremely low yields., which ensures a lot of concentration in the wine.
First commercially released wine from old-vine cabernet sauvignon, grown on its own rootstock with the vast majority from 1910. Originally made just for the owners to drink, James Suckling was the first to taste it first and immediately gave the Parcelle 8 a great score: 98/100 points.
Located in the southern part of the Bordeaux Medoc peninsula, Château Cantemerle, designated a great growth in the famous 1855 classification, thanks to its unique terroir, produces complex well-balanced and refined wines.
This second wine comes mainly from the château’s young vines, and is made like its elder brother.
Les Allées de Cantemerle has the same personality as the grand vin, but a shorter ageing potential.
As it ages more quickly, Les Allées de Cantemerle is generally ready to be consumed within several years of the vintage.
