This wine blends 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from 25-year-old vines grown in clay-limestone soil. The 2020 vintage benefited from excellent late-summer weather, making this wine highly balanced and ready to enjoy now.

APPEARANCE
Medium-intense cherry-red dress.

NOSE
A deliciously fruity nose of red and black fruits, with forward notes of dark cherries, plums, and blackcurrants.

PALATE
Full and supple taste with prominent black fruits, layered with light secondary hints of oak, vanilla, black pepper, and subtle earthy graphite. Soft in tannins and a good length.

AGEING
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

PAIRING
This wine pairs well with a variety of classic comfort foods, such as grilled steak, roasted poultry, pasta, pizza, and fresh salads. It also pairs wonderfully with varied cheeses.
