Pasionado reflects the passion and commitment of Abdeluna’s winemaking team, to producing wines that showcase the identity of the place, while respecting and protecting the environment. Pasionado comes from the most outstanding plots in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Mendoza, Argentina.

This blend of 4 varieties (“cuatro cepas”) honour with passion the soil, the altitude, the Andes and the moon.
The fundamentals, the root systems, give life to these wines: character, harmony, charm. This wine represents all the purity, the simplicity and the exquisite expression of its varietal.

Description

TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 15%

APPEARANCE
Very intense color, deep hues with violet and dark red tones.

NOSE
Aromas of black fruits combined with spicy, herbal and floral notes.

PALATE
In the mouth, this is an outstanding and powerful wine at all times, with silky tannins and a lingering finish.

AGEING
Each varietal is individually elaborated and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. (Malbec, Cabernet and Merlot in 50% new French oak, while Cabernet Franc in 60% first use and 40% second use French oak).

PAIRING
This wine is ideal with roasted calf’s liver with apples, onions, and balsamic vinegar sauce, ossobuco, or stuffed peppers.
