Due Palme Don Cosimo Primitivo Salento IGP

Cantine Due Palme is one of the largest and most successful wineries in Southern Italy. Over the years, it has acquired the ability to serve all market segments, ensuring the highest quality at every level.

The history of Primitivo IGP dates back to ancient times. Likely introduced to Puglia by the Illyrians, a Balkan population dedicated to viticulture, it was later traded throughout the Mediterranean by the Phoenicians. Today, together with Negroamaro, it represents one of the most renowned and sought-after grape varieties of Salento, synonymous with quality and tradition, particularly linked to the traditional training system known as the Alberello Pugliese.
