Villa S. Andrea is a property of over 600 hectares , located in the heart of Chianti Classico in the ancient village of Fabbrica. The vineyards extend over 50 hectares on the slopes surrounding the villa and are dedicated primarily to the production of Chianti Classico DOCG. The ancient cellars, entirely dug into the hillside and arranged in parallel rows, were the place dedicated to the aging of wines, housing both large barrels and small oak barriques, and are still open to visitors today. Due to its location, history and vineyard vocation, Villa S. Andrea is considered one of the jewels of Chianti Classico .

APPEARANCE
Intense, purplish ruby red color.

NOSE
Fine, intense, and fruity aroma with subtle oak notes.

PALATE
Soft, ample, full-bodied palate with sweet, medium-density tannins perfectly balanced with acidity. Fruity, spicy, and persistent aftertaste.

AGEING
The wine is aged in 35-hectolitre French oak barrels for at least 12 months. Finally, it undergoes bottle aging for 6 months.

PAIRING
It pairs well with red and white meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
