APPEARANCE
Medium garnet-purple colored.
NOSE
A crisp, well-defined bouquet with bright redcurrant and cranberry fruit, together with cigar box and earthy layers plus a hint of lavender.
PALATE
The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin on the entry.
A little more fragrant and floral than other St-Emilions in 2015.
A lovely wine, with touches of cinnamon finessing the finish
AGEING
Aged for 18 months in barrels, 40% new.
PAIRING
Best paired with all types of classic meat dishes, roasted and grilled.
Also good when matched with Asian dishes, and rich fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, and pasta.
