Château Croizet-Bages Pauillac Grand Cru Classé AOC

The origin of the name Château Croizet-Bages dates back to the 17th century when the Croizet brothers, an emblematic dynasty of the Médoc landscape, founded this estate in the heart of the Pauillac appellation.

Pauillacais by nature, the wines of Château Croizet-Bages are sunny and generous.

To perfect the most delicate blends, Merlot, harvested relatively early, brings roundness to the grand vin. With notes of candied cherry, it expresses all the purity of a crisp and charming fruit. Petit Verdot, present in a tiny quantity and not every vintage, lends its vibrant color to the wine. The backbone of the grand vin, Cabernet Sauvignon, contributes a long, aromatic power that will reveal itself after a few years of aging. With notes of black fruit and cedar, the tannic structure reveals richness, breadth, and generosity.
