Schild Estate Wines are created with an authenticity and passion that comes from generations of a family who have made their home in the Southern Barossa.
The Reserve collection of wines are named in honour of Schild Family members who have given their foresight and passion to the Schild Estate journey.
The Liebich Vineyard sits high on the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat. The vines grown adjacent to the original Schild homestead that was purchased and settled by Ben and Alma Schild in 1952 on what was historically known as ‘Narrow Road’.

APPEARANCE
Deep dark ruby in colour.

NOSE
Soft and layered with aromas of vibrant blackberries and blood plum fruit.
These are coupled with secondary more subtle hints of cedar wood, fresh vanilla bean and clove spice.

PALATE
The palate is marked by a controlled creamy mouthfeel with the same primary dark fruit and chocolate notes evident before a fine tannin frame works around the edges.
Structural, mineral and bright.

AGEING
Maturation in a combination of new and aged oak barrels for 18-14 months.

PAIRING
Ideal with barbecued ribs or slow-cooked beef brisket.
