Edgardo del Popolo, viticulturist and wine-maker for BenMarco, expresses through these wines the characteristics of the best soils and grapes of Mendoza.
Expresivo is harvested from Gualtallary Terroir, which translates in mineral notes, firm fine grained tannins and great length.
The result is a vertical wine with ultra-fine grained tannins, long after taste and great ageing potential.

APPEARANCE
Deep ruby color.

NOSE
As a result of the high altitude region of Gualtallary and its calcareous alluvial soils, BenMarco Expresivo is a lineal, fresh wine, with aromas of blackberries, pepper tree and violets.

PALATE
On the palate, rich flavors of black fruits, chocolate, and vanilla are beautifully balanced by velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish.

AGEING
14 months, in French oak barrels (70% new and 30% second-use).

PAIRING
It perfectly accompanies tenderloin with a creamy peppercorn sauce to match the spice and weight of this wine.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
Drink now or cellar it for 10 to 15 years.
