Here, in the heart of the valley, on fertile, deep, cool, and well-drained soils, Janare produces the grapes for these sparkling wines, which owe their freshness and elegance to these soil characteristics.

As Marius, Michel Chapoutier’s great-grandfather, always said ‘A good wine is one that beckons us to take another sip’.
These wines carry this message and reflect the warmth of the southern France terroirs in which they are rooted.
The Grenaches of this rosé are located on clay-limestone slopes, while the Cinsaults and the Syrahs grow in predominantly sandy soils. All harvested when fully ripe, and at night to ensure they retain their fruitiness and freshness.

The Miles from Nowhere name comes from the journey Franklin Tate’s ancestors made over 100 years ago from Eastern Europe to Australia: upon their arrival, they felt they had travelled “miles from nowhere”.
The philosophy of Miles from Nowhere is based on a passion for seeking out precious pockets of exceptional land and vineyards across the Margaret River region.
For their rosé, Miles From Nowhere focus their sourcing from the southern, cooler parts of Margaret River that produce delicate, ethereal Shiraz. In 2021, they blended a batch of the rare Muscat a petit grains rouge to add to the complexity and uniqueness of our rose.
In the end, this beloved rosé shows the fresh and subtly sweet flavours of a white, with the gentle spices and complexities from the red.
Carefully selected grapes from the best wine regions are blended to ensure Paul Chamblain Brut Rosé is balanced, elegant and refreshing.
The yeast is selected in Champagne but, according to the Charmat method, a second natural fermentation takes place in vats close, which keeps the original aromas of the wines of this rosé base.
