The vines are carefully cultivated to our specifications, with low yields producing intensely flavored grapes of outstanding quality.

This winery had been known since the early 1950’s as ‘Rouge Homme’ and holds enormous importance within the ‘winescape’ of Australia. The 13.5ha of mature vineyard surrounding the winery is planted on the famous ‘terra rossa’ soil of Coonawarra. These old vineyards have provided the DiGiorgio Family with an invaluable source of premium grapes for their Coonawarra label.
The 2022 vintage saw average yielding with perfect ripening conditions. This enabled excellent concentration of fruit characters resulting in a rich, full bodied wine.

Average crops and excellent ripening conditions for the 2022 harvest saw a concentration of fruit and flavour. Time in bottle will see even more complexity develop, with an increase in cedar and savoury characters. A great example of Coonawarra Shiraz.

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon is created by selecting only the best individual panels and rows (the so called “Best Blocks“) from across 3 different sub-regions of Margaret River.
Cabernet Sauvignon is Margaret River’s classic variety, it represents where the region started.
As Margaret River continues to grow and develop, the love for Cabernet never changes, it is the soul of the community, and responsible to have put Margaret River on the map.
Miles From Nowhere is all about a passion for winemaking.
This passion drove oenologist Rory Clifton-Parks and a well-known industry veteran Franklin Tate to gathered precious little pockets of exceptional land and vineyards, scattered across the Margaret River region of Western Australia.
This is solid, well-made Chardonnay, something really special, unique and distinct, that from the ground up truly expresses what is unique about the terroir of Margaret River. The majority of this wine, came from our vineyard in the Wilyabrup sub-region in Margaret River. Very low crops in 2021 have produced a wine, with rich citrus and stone fruit aromas and flavours.

For this blend of Shiraz, two parcels of Wilyabrup fruit with an average vine age of 20 years were selected : one from sand over clay soils located close to the coast, and one on free draining gravelly ironstone. Both parcels are spur pruned and low yielding with excellent bunch architecture.
A good Shiraz for those who enjoy a wine with a dense mouthfeel.
