Magarey Lane offers a selection of premium wines from the Coonawarra & Limestone Coast. The Magarey Lane vineyard, planted in 1989, has supplied grapes to many famous brands such as Reschke, and over the past 30 years, the largely unirrigated vines have matured and are producing wonderfully ripe and concentrated wines.

This Shiraz delivers bold dark-fruits along with rich red-berry concentrates. Touches of subtle oak and pepper complete the palate, supported by a fine tannin structure.

TECHNICAL DATA

APPEARANCE
Deep ruby to near-black in color.

NOSE
Intense aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry, layered with complex notes of star anise, cured meat, roasted hazelnut, and a hint of cocoa.

PALATE
A generously weighted, sunny-sweet palate with rich red-berry concentrates. It features subtle oak integration, peppery spice, and a fine, velvety tannin structure.

AGEING
Matured for 18 months in a combination of new and old French/American oak barrels.

PAIRING
Ideal for Friday-night pizza, BBQ sausages, or burgers; rich mushroom risotto or grilled eggplant; and hearty roast lamb with rosemary, slow-cooked brisket, or venison.
