Casa Santos Lima was created to ensure the continuous development of Santos Lima’s wine producing activity created several generations ago. This activity was first started by Joaquim Santos Lima, who, by the turn of 19th century, was already a great producer and exporter of Portuguese wines. Still a family owned company, today is present in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro.
Made of the Negra Mole indigenous grape variety from our vineyards close to the sea, this is an authentic wine which shows all the richness of Algarve region.

The nose reveals a complex aromatic profile featuring floral and cherry notes, with hints of onion skins, pepper, and wild roses.

Good acidity, a broad, silky texture with soft tannins and a round, opulent body, yet with smoothness and depth. Long elegant finish.
PAIRING
A wonderful accompaniment to mushrooms sautéed with bacon and garlic.
