Frasca Nizza DOCG

Located in Nizza Monferrato, in the heart of Monferrato Area (Piemonte); 20 km from Asti and 30 km from Alba, the Frasca Winery consists of 22 hectares of vineyards, embracing the municipalities of Nizza Monferrato, Agliano Terme and Moasca.

Founded in 2018 by Curt Frasca (Italian American wine connoisseur, fallen in love with Barbera and Monferrato) and Matteo Gerbi (formerly WM of iconic Wineries such as G.D. Vajra and Bruno Giacosa), these vineyards have been selected with patience to enhance the different characteristics of the territory and are managed with care and passion, to respect the Earth and Man.

Frasca Nizza DOCG is a highly refined, estate-blended Italian red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes. Sourced from 35-year-old vines spread across the estate’s key vineyard sites in Nizza Monferrato, Agliano Terme, and Moasca, it reflects the prestigious sub-zone of the region.

Nizza is for Frasca the highest expression of Barbera: structure, acidity and ageability are harmoniously balanced. On the label the flight of the butterfly mirrors the delicate elegance that is expressly Nizza.
