APPEARANCE
Deep purplish red.
NOSE
The nose opens with aromas of raspberry, hint of violet, dominant spice, rosemary, notes of black olive and tapenade, typically characteristic of the Côte-Rôtie appellation.
PALATE
Ample, deep, with a woody, spicy and vanilla finish.
AGEING
Aged in 228L and 600L barrels (20% new wood) for 14 to 16 months.
PAIRING
For a perfect pairing, try it with chicken fricassee, roasted pigeon, or goose stuffed with foie gras.
