Douhairet-Porcheret Rully marks a notable departure from the winery’s selection, as it is a highly elegant, appellation-level white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay. While the estate is based in the Côte de Beaune, they source these grapes from the limestone and clay soils of Rully, a premier village in the Côte Chalonnaise region known for producing vibrant, mineral-forward white wines.

APPEARANCE
Golden with green tints, and deepening to buttercup with age.

NOSE
This white Rully excels in aromas of hedge flowers such as acacia, hawthorn, honeysuckle, very fine elderberry, violet, lemon, white peach and flint.

PALATE
On the palate, it is fruity, lively and round, fat and long.

AGEING
Aged in 228L fine-grain French oak barrels with medium to high toast, for 11 months and 1 month in stainless steel vats before bottling.

PAIRING
Its versatile structure makes it an exceptional partner for white meats, seafood and lightly creamy sauces.
