Prominent notes of blackcurrant and dark berries, supported by secondary aromas of graphite/pencil shavings, cedar, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla from French oak aging.
PALATE
Structured yet smooth, showcasing a core of ripe black fruits balanced by firm, polished tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is persistent with subtle notes of licorice, dark chocolate, and sweet baking spices.
AGEING
After blending, the wine ages from 18 to 24 months in oak (40% new wood each year).
PAIRING
Pairs exceptionally well with red meat dishes (such as beef tenderloin or roasted venison), wild mushrooms, roasted pork, and firm, aged cheeses.
