Careful management of the vines and rigorous monitoring of ripeness result in healthy, ripe grapes of exceptional richness. And careful aging for 12 months in barrels and vats allows this wine to express both power and elegance.

Since 2012, Château La Verriere has embarked on an environmental approach by integrating the certification scope of the SME (Environmental Management System) and HVE (Exploitation of High Environmental Value).

APPEARANCE
Beautiful garnet-red color with deep purple highlights.

NOSE
The nose reveals great depth, with warm notes of very ripe black fruit (blackberry, cherry), mixed with cocoa, bourbon vanilla, liquorice, sweet spices and light tobacco.

PALATE
The attack is full and frank. This wine expresses a beautiful relief with a powerful yet balanced and ripe tannic structure.

AGEING
The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and vats which allow the wine to express its full bodied and elegant palate.

PAIRING
It makes excellent accompaniment to beef, lamb, game and hard cheeses.

RATINGS
