Intense and generous garnet color.
NOSE
Very expressive with notes of red fruits and black currant cream.
A delicate bouquet enhanced with a hint of finesse.
PALATE
Very rich and complex, tannins are silky.
Nice balance between fruitiness and oak, with a delicate touch of vanilla and perfect corpulence.
AGEING
After blending, the wine ages from 18 to 24 months in oak (40% new wood each year).
PAIRING
Best served with roasted lamb, braised rack of veal, bone-in rib of beef with pan-fried porcini mushrooms and hard cheeses, such as tommes or gouda.
READINESS FOR DRINKING
At its best after 5-10 years from the vintage.
