Trader, breeder and producer recognized worldwide, sometimes nicknamed the “Pope” or the “King” of Beaujolais, Georges Duboeuf (1933 – 2020) comes from a long line of winegrowers. Established since 1964 in Romanèche-Thorins in the heart of the Moulin-à-Vent appellation. Its heirs are intended to work in the line of its founder.

An incomparable range that transcends this Mâconnais appellation. The “Signature” cuvées perfectly reflect their origins and the talent of their winemakers, where fruit, richness and complexity are multiplied.

APPEARANCE
This Pouilly-Fuissé has an attractive golden color with opaline highlights.

NOSE
This cuvée releases a wide range of aromas: white flowers, white-fleshed fruit and honeyed notes.

PALATE
The attack is rich and full-bodied, with unctuosity and a mineral finish.

AGEING
To avoid overpowering the characteristics of the Mâconnais terroir, only 10% of the wine is aged in new French oak barrels for 8 months, while the remaining 90% stays in stainless steel.

PAIRING
Smoked salmon, fish in sauce, shellfish.
