Douhairet-Porcheret Santenay “Les Potets” is an appellation-level village red Burgundy wine. While “Les Passetemps” is a Premier Cru, “Les Potets” comes from a dedicated village climat (single vineyard plot) located at the foot of the Santenay slopes, known for producing approachable, fruit-forward expressions of 100% Pinot Noir.

APPEARANCE
Ruby-red colour.

NOSE
This Santenay is reminiscent of raspberries, strawberries and cherries, a crunchy fruit.

PALATE
On the palate, a full-bodied wine, rich in body and fruit. Lovely, fleshy roundness. In a word, delicious.

AGEING
12/14 months in French oak barrel (228 l fine-grain medium toast) and 2/3 months in stainless steel tank before bottling.

PAIRING
It pairs beautifully with intensely flavored dishes that require a bit more substance from the wine.
