The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée Quid Pro Quo Vinho Tinto from Casa Santos Lima are Alfrocheiro, Tempranillo and Touriga Nacional grapes.

Afonso V grants a portion of land (Comenda de Oliveira) to the noble D. Afonso de Mansilha. Later in 1756, Frei João de Mansilha played a very important role in the demarcation of the Douro and its implementation.
The Portal 29 Grapes is a field blend from old Port vineyards where you can find a large number of different grape varieties. It’s a reserve Port that results of a selection of the finest ruby lots carefully aged in the cellars between 4 and 5 years.

The name “Allo” is a merge of Alvarinho and Loureiro’s initials, two noble grape varieties of the Minho Region in northern Portugal. Loureiro, representing the majority (70%) of the blend, provides floral notes. Alvarinho, on the other hand, is responsible for the wine’s structure. By combining the delicate nature of Loureiro with the confidence of Alvarinho, “Allo” is a wine that embodies both the fun and serious sides of our Minho’s territory.
