Tenuta Luce La Vite Lucente Toscana IGT

Located in the Montalcino area, southwest of the medieval city, Tenuta Luce Della Vite, one of the estates of the Frescobaldi family, produces some of the best wines of Tuscany and the greatest Italian wines. Literally, Tuscany in a unique light.

Lucente is the result of a careful selection of the estate’s vineyards that are particularly suited for the production of a fruity and very pleasant wine. Like Luce, it is made from Sangiovese and Merlot, which prevails in the blend.

Appearing a deep ruby red.

NOSE
Lucente boasts an intense bouquet of red berryfruit, wild blackberry, Parma violets, and other floral notes.

PALATE
Broad and generous on the palate, with tannins beautifully-integrated into the structure, it develops tangy, aromatic fruit on the mid-palate, including dark wild berry, black liquorice, and smooth spices.

AGEING
12 months in partly new and partly re-used wooden barriques.

PAIRING
Ideal with with meat, roasted and grilled meats, pasta with rich sauce and cheeses.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
Pairs exceptionally well with hearty dishes such as Osso Buco, roast beef, grilled red meats, truffle risotto, or aged cheeses.
