Vignobles Jean Sorge are home to the cru bourgeois Château Deyrem-Valentin and its little sister, Château Soussans. The estates nestle between two grands crus classés and date back to 1730. Christelle Sorge is now in charge and she continues on a path of tradition married with innovation to provide wines of ever increasing quality to lovers of Margaux everywhere.

TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 14.5%

APPEARANCE
Ruby red with a nice concentration.

NOSE
Very greedy on black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry) with hints of wild strawberries and liquorice.

PALATE
Fruity attack, beautiful complexity and substance, quality tannins and long finish.

AGEING
The aging is composed of 70% in oak barrels of 225 liters (for 12 months) and 30% in cement vats in order to preserve a great aromatic power.

PAIRING
Good with red meats, grilled meats, lamb and game.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
Drink very well between 2022 and 2025 but capable to age well over the next decade.
