Schild Estate Wines are created with an authenticity and passion that comes from generations of a family who have made their home in the Southern Barossa.

The Narrow Road Vineyard sits high on the hills behind the township of Rowland Flat. The vines grown adjacent to the original Schild homestead that was purchased and settled by Ben and Alma Schild in 1952 on what was historically known as ‘Narrow Road’.

APPEARANCE
Deep dark ruby in colour.

NOSE
Aromatically the wine shows vibrant notes of dark plum, chocolate and a touch of spice which sit alongside subtle, brief glimpses of ink and a hint of bright mineral lift.

PALATE
On the palate the dark plum and chocolate notes re-emerge providing an intense depth of flavour whilst retaining a sense of control and balance as the wine moves through.

AGEING
Maturation in a combination of new and aged oak barrels for 18-24 months.

PAIRING
Ideal with roasted or grilled meat.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
