Deep, intense red color.

NOSE
It leads with intense aromas of violets, tobacco, dark chocolate, and minerals, opening up into thick layers of black fruit and baking spices.

PALATE
In the mouth, spicy and with juicy acidity. Vibrant, intense, with elegant tannins and good persistency. Great aging potential.

AGEING
16 months in 80% new and 20% second-use French oak barrels.

PAIRING
Grilled or roasted meats like beef, lamb or quail and pasta with cream-based sauces.
