Born in March 1952, when a group of winemakers determined to cooperate to sustain an area, founded the Cantina Sociale di Monteforte d’Alpone. 600 member wineries, located in eastern Verona, on the border with the province of Vicenza with roots in the main historical denominations of the province of Verona, such as Soave and Valpolicella. They represent the land where they were born: volcanic soils, dark with reddish and silvery reflections, simple and hard, which smell of sun-dried earth and tradition.
Terre di Monteforte “Vulcanico” Soave DOC is a crisp, terroir-driven white wine that heavily emphasizes the distinct volcanic soils of Monteforte d’Alpone, which shape its remarkable mineral and refreshing profile. It is made from the native Garganega grape variety.

Bright straw-yellow.
NOSE
Intense and rich nose, typically Soave in its yellow fruits, floral profile and a classic touch of almond.
PALATE
On the palate is clean, bodied, generous but overall balanced. The almondy/bitterish notes comes out in the aftertaste, with a pronounced, savory mineral twist.
AGEING
In stainless steel tank.

This wine goes well as aperitiv, first courses and fish dish.
