Tenuta Cantagallo Chianti Montalbano DOCG

Tenuta Cantagallo has been owned by the Pierazzuoli family since 1970 and covers 200 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods on the rolling Tuscan hills between Florence and Vinci.
The pride of the estate is the production of Chianti Montalbano DOCG and Riserva.
The Chianti Montalbano is entirely produced with Sangiovese grapes, vinified and matured in steel at a controlled temperature.
The selection of the grapes is the first secret of the Chianti Cantagallo, so much that as mentioned in the label and written in the cork is made “a bottle for each strain” (“Una bottiglia di vino per ogni ceppo di vite”).

Tenuta Cantagallo Chianti Montalbano Riserva DOCG

The pride of the estate is the production of Chianti Montalbano DOCG and Riserva.

The Chianti Montalbano Reserva is made from the best Sangiovese grapes of the estate’s vineyards and ages for a minimum of 12 months in medium-aged Allier oak casks. This Tuscan red wine is fine and elegant, on the nose it expresses all the characteristics of Sangiovese with spicy and forest fruits.

Tenuta Cantagallo e Le Farnete Carmignano DOCG

Tenuta Cantagallo has been owned by the Pierazzuoli family since 1970 and covers 200 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods on the rolling Tuscan hills between Florence and Vinci. Their second property, Le Farnete Estate, is located in the town of Carmignano, near Firenze and it covers a surface of 100 acres in the Carmignano docg zone and it is of Pierazzuoli Family since 1990.

Carmignano DOCG is a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes 80% and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is the only DOCG in Italy where one is obliged to use Cabernet Sauvignon, because thanks to the Medici, the Carmignano is made by the blend between Sangiovese and “French grapes” which was Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tenuta Cantagallo e Le Farnete Carmignano Riserva DOCG

Tenuta Cantagallo has been owned by the Pierazzuoli family since 1970 and covers 200 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods on the rolling Tuscan hills between Florence and Vinci. Their second property, Le Farnete Estate, is located in the town of Carmignano, near Firenze and it covers a surface of 100 acres in the Carmignano docg zone and it is of Pierazzuoli Family since 1990.

Carmignano Reserva comes for a very careful selection of grapes Sangiovese 80% and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, made in the oldest vineyards of the estate which have a perfect exposure in the south so it guarantees an optimum ripening.

Tenuta Cantagallo Gioveto Toscana IGT

Tenuta Cantagallo has been owned by the Pierazzuoli family since 1970 and covers 200 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods on the rolling Tuscan hills between Florence and Vinci.
The pride of the estate is the production of Chianti Montalbano DOCG and Riserva.

However, Gioveto is a Toscana IGT which comes from the blend of the best selection of Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese.  “Gioveto” comes from the old name of Sangiovese in Tuscany which was called “SanGioveto”.

The selection of the grapes is the first secret of the Cantagallo wines, so much that as mentioned in the label and written in the cork is made “a bottle for each strain” (“Una bottiglia di vino per ogni ceppo di vite”).
