Produced on the exceptional terroir of Château Montrose and made in the château’s winery, Le Saint Estèphe de Montrose is the estate’s third wine and a traditional blend of classic Bordeaux grape varieties from younger vines and lees wines.
Previously available only to the estate’s owners and employees, it meets the same uncompromising quality standards as Château Montrose and La Dame de Montrose and it is a typical Bordeaux blend which may be enjoyed when young.

Tertio de Montrose Saint-Estèphe AOC (Château Montrose GCC 3rd wine)

Third blend made from batches of the younger vines and the lees wines, Tertio de Montrose, is produced on the exceptional terroir of Château Montrose and vinified by its teams. Named Saint-Estèphe de Montrose when created in 2008, it was renamed Tertio de Montrose in 2016.

Aged for 12 months, for which 15% in new barrels, this wine is made with the same quality requirements as the Grand Vin and La Dame de Montrose selections. Typical of the Bordeaux blends, this wine can be enjoyed in its early years. ”
