We were very excited to present our new Maverick Wines in Bangkok and for the occasion we organized a wine talk with the winemaker and owner Mr. Ronald Brown at About Eatery.
We were expecting more people but, in the end, we were quite satisfied to have it kept small and more intimate. In this way, Ronald was able to truly explain his philosophy about bio-dynamic wine making to all the participants, which found his Chardonnay Breechens 2015 full-bodied yet very elegant; his Riesling from Eden Valley 2017 unexpectedly dry and extremely good; his spicy Barossa Shiraz Breechens 2017 very well done; the Cabernet Sauvignon Breechens 2014 easy to drink and quite soft in its fullness; and the blend of single vineyards Twins Barrel Select Shiraz 2017 very pleasant, well structured and the perfect match with Chef Gabriele’s food: our favorite was Pici with Wagyu Bolognese sauce.
Thanks to all the people interested in our wines and a special thanks to Ronald for his precious presence in town, we are sure we will see you again very soon!
