Reschke Bull Trader Shiraz

The Reschke family first settled in the Limestone Coast district in 1906, establishing themselves as prime Hereford graziers. In 1989 Burke Reschke, fourth generation in the family decided to develop the farmland into vineyards, which in turn produced exceptional fruit, as well as a number of Australia’s icon wines.

2021 provided an exceptionally strong vintage, with great fruit expression and tannins across the reds, giving rise to wines with excellent cellaring potential.

APPEARANCE
Deep ruby colour.

NOSE
The notes of blackberry, cherry and dark chocolate are balanced with subtle spicy oak characters.

PALATE
This Shiraz is full bodied with a smooth rich texture. The lengthy palate is concentrated and mouth filling, displaying outstanding depth and intensity.

AGEING
A year and a half in a mix of French and American oak barrels and hogsheads.

PAIRING
Pair it with hearty, stewed and roasted meats or aged cheeses.
