The Cantina Santa Lucia was born in Maremma from the desire to carry on the family farming tradition with a new, concrete and conscious outlook. Each bottle encapsulates knowledge built day after day, harvest after harvest, with the care and dedication of those who know the land and respect it.

From the handle vineyards of the Rocca Aldobrandesca in Capalbio born this blend of Petit Verdot and Syrah. This is the latest wine that deeply express Maremma, like Capalbio and his Rocca for the old Stato dei Presìdi, from where the wine get its name.

TECHNICAL DATA
Alcohol 14%

APPEARANCE
Intense red ruby and clear violet hues.

NOSE
Great nose, with fruity scents and spicy notes due the long aging in oak barrels.

PALATE
Smooth and elegant in the mouth with a strong mark of persistence and notable balance.

AGEING
The wine is aged in new and semi-new barrels for 12 months before blending the three grapes, vinificated separately. The wine stay 12 months in bottle before selling.

PAIRING
Because of its full body, velvety tannins, and persistent, savory finish, it requires rich, robust dishes that can stand up to its bold architecture.
