APPEARANCE
Ruby red with garnet reflections.

NOSE
A floral nose of violet and red cherries, particularly refreshing.

PALATE
Granular and textured tannins, the wood is smartly used and helps to balance the whole, very pleasant bitter orange and balsamic notes in the aftertaste. An extremely interesting and alternative style of red.

AGEING
30% whole bunches vinification to highlight the fruit flavors, with delicate maceration, and no punch down, followed by 4 months in a large oak barrel.

PAIRING
Excellent match for hearty vegand and vegetarian, cured meats, charcuterie boards, and young cheeses. Or traditional pasta from Piedmont like Tajarin with meat ragù.

Haras de Pirque estate was born with the quest to produce high quality organic wines and explore Chile’s vast winemaking potential while focusing on expressing the Maipo Valley’s extraordinary terroir. The name “Haras de Pirque” is a tribute to the country’s oldest thoroughbred farm, established in 1892. The thoroughbred racetrack still surrounds the estate’s vineyards and the state-of-the-art winery. In the early 2000’s, Marchese Piero Antinori was captivated by the Haras de Pirque estate, which at that time was an impressive thoroughbred stud farm nestled in the Andes Mountain range. As the finest wines are crafted in terroirs with distinctive elements and natural beauty, likewise a good winemaker and his vineyard complement each other, ultimately expressing perfect harmony in each wine. Haras de Pirque Albaclara Sauvignon Blanc

Albaclara is bright yellow in color.

NOSE
The nose offers aromas of citrus fruit and minerals typical of Leyda Valley together with fresh hints of peaches, passion fruit and mandarin oranges.

PALATE
Impressive on the palate for lively freshness and herbal notes of mint and wild mint.

AGEING
Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for 12 to 15 days at a low temperature to preserve the freshness of the grapes. The wine was left to age on the lees with delicate pump overs performed every 2 weeks.

PAIRING
Perfect with hot spicy dishes, especially Thai cuisine. Excellent with appetizers and light first courses. Good also with seafood, oysters and white fish.

Château Laffitte Carcasset was founded in 1759 at «Le Carcasset», an area located at the heart of Saint-Estèphe appellation. In 1781 his owner, Jean Laffitte, lawyer and prosecutor of the King Louis XVI in Bordeaux, gave his name to the estate. This beautiful chartreuse typical of the 18th century, is surrounded by the Classified Growths of Saint-Estèphe. The vineyard is on the gravellous plateau, near the Gironde estuary where the Cabernet and the Merlot best express their potential. Le Chardonnay de Laffitte Carcasset is a rare, small-production dry white wine made by the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur estate Château Laffitte Carcasset. Because Chardonnay is not an authorized grape under the strict red-only rules of the Saint-Estèphe AOC, this unique wine is designated as IGP Atlantique (or Vin de France). The estate opened a brand-new chapter in 2020 by planting 100% Chardonnay on their "La Rochette" plot. This specific parcel features rich clay-limestone soils. While gravel dominates the rest of the Médoc peninsula, this limestone pocket provides the exact, perfect setting that cool-climate Chardonnay needs to thrive.
