The first plantation in the history of the Château Les Grands Chênes, named Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, took place in 1880. This property was one of the first acquired by Bernard Magrez in the Médoc vineyards. This castle is often considered as “The Pearl of the Medoc”. It is located on the famous gravelly ridge of Saint Christoly du Médoc and is built around an old fortress dating from the sixteenth century.

It's in Saint-Christoly Médoc, a town once famous for its port where the sounds of barrels rolling onto the quayside, is where the vineyards of Château Les Grands Chênes are located. Ideally planted on a beautiful hillside of Garonne gravel, it makes the most of this top-quality terroir.

Château Quintus is the 5th child within the Domaine Clarence Dillon family of wines. Its name is a tribute to the Gallo-Romans, creators of Saint-Emilion’s vineyards, who had the custom of naming their fifth child Quintus.

Le Dragon de Quintus is the second wine of Château Quintus. The name originates from the dragon statue that towers above the magical terroir of Saint-Emilion, perched high upon the promontory, where the estate is located.

Thanks to this ideal spell of weather in 2019, all the grape varieties were harvested at peak ripeness and at a leisurely pace. This Dragon is definitely well-balanced and delicious.

Located at the heart of the vineyard of Alsace since 1957, Cave des Vignerons de Pfaffenheim has developed a taste for quality and innovation in line with its traditions and values.

Zinnkoepflé soils sits upon shelly Muschelkalk limestone strewn with sandstone inclusions which provide aromatic finesse and remarkable acidity - the base for the superb intensity of these terroir wines. Zinnkoepflé produces wines marked by generous maturity which translates on the palate into aromas of candied fruit and toasted notes. Simultaneously, the mouth structure reveals complex freshness. This duality bestows weight, finishing with a subtle, sweeping and highly precise minerality.
In particolar, Riesling unfolds notes of citrus fruit peel giving a succulent sensation, a mere prelude to intense minerality.

It was in 1981 that the Marquis Lodovico Antinori, cousin of Piero Antinori, founded the Ornellaia Estate, in the heart of the Bolgheri area, a few kilometers from the Mediterranean coast. Thus, with the first harvest of 1985, what would become an icon among the SuperTuscans was born: the "Ornellaia". With the inauguration of the company, the world-famous enologist, Michel Rolland, begins to deal with the technical part of the cellar. Subsequently, in the 90s the other two labels were born: "Le Volte" and "Le Serre Nuove".

Crafted from the same varieties, under the same sky, from the same philosophy: Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia is a proud second vin, which has the ability to foretell the personality of the estate’s flagship wine. Together, the two wines provide their own distinctive points of view. The pleasure of sipping Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia evolves over time, adding the charm of maturity to the vigour of youth.

From the 17th century to the present day, ten generations of owners have followed one another and have left their mark on the history of Château Lascombes. A destiny marked by colorful characters who all worked for the excellence of Château Lascombes wines.

An alliance of power and elegance, smoothness and tannic richness, Château Lascombes is a complex wine. Young, its deep robe is still impressive. The palate combines finesse and softness with a grain of very noble tannins. Over the years, you have to rediscover Château Lascombes to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity and see its structure evolve, becoming more and more suave.

Depth, complexity and graceful power characterise this vintage, which reveals all its qualities after long ageing in the bottle. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, it represents the Médoc’s winemaking tradition and embodies the great classicism of Margaux.
