The history of Montrose, written in two centuries by three families of owners, is depositary of their spirit, marked by their quest of excellence and legendary vintages. Pioneers in the Médoc, visionary builders and wise managers, all these families knew how to work and valorise this unique terroir. The estate owes them the foundation on which Montrose builds its image today and its unique place in the world of exceptional wines.

In 1972, the property itself was purchased by the Famille Jean-François Janoueix, managers and owners of prestigious Saint-Émilion and Pomerol estates since 1898. Janoueix wines have been served to presidents and dignitaries during official state dinners. The reputation of the La Croix-Toulifaut vineyards stretches even further back to the Middle Ages when the religious pilgrims of Saint Jacques gathered in front of the stone cross of La Croix Toulifaut as part of their devotions. The same cross still stands today and serves as a landmark for this vineyard. The very name Toulifaut has its roots in the old Latin French phrase "tot li falt" or "tout y faille" (everyone will give way). History has it that even the most pious person cannot help but be drawn to Pomerol from these vineyards.

ChâteauToulifaut (often listed as Château La Croix Toulifaut) is made from 100% Merlot and carries the winery's long history of craftsmanship and patience. To the credit of the entire region, the wine shows how the history of the area and the winery's commitment can be united in a pure and balanced wine experience from Bordeaux. This wine has been called the "Princess of Pomerol" by Jean-Luc Pouteau, the best sommelier in the world, based on its feminine representation of the appellation's characteristics.

The origin of the estate is very ancient. Vines have been grown on the slopes of what is now Château Pavie since the 4th century. Owned by Chantal and Gérard Perse since March 1998, Château Pavie, a 1er Grand Cru Classé “A”, boasts one of the finest terroirs in Saint-Émilion. Château Pavie is renowned for the structure and elegance of its wines.

Starting with the 2005 vintage, Château Pavie officially announces the release of a second-label wine under the name of "Arômes de Pavie” which replaces "Château Tour Simard ” because it would be easier for our consumers to recognize this wine among Perse's range. Principally from young vines that are less than ten years old, the final blend also contains numerous barrels that were remaining following the severe selection that is practiced for the first wine. The same care and attention goes into the production of this wine as to Pavie itself.

The 2015 vintage in Saint-Émilion stands out for exceptional weather conditions. Arômes de Pavie 2015 is vinified in the estate’s 20 temperature-controlled wooden vats. After alcoholic fermentation and controlled maceration, the wine is aged in French oak barrels, depending on the vintages in 70% to 100% new oak, for 18 - 32 months. This method allows the oak notes to integrate harmoniously with the wine’s tannic structure.

Château Siran is the result of a subtle blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, which reflects the identity of its terroir. Both powerful and subtle, Siran’s wines always seek a balance between the softness of the tannins, the intensity of the fruit and a persistent freshness. Siran wines are known for their aging potential, even long aging that will delight the most patient.

2021 is a vintage of precision, returning to a more classic, streamlined style, “The year of Cabernet the King.” After a rather overcast spring, the season gradually regained balance, allowing fine ripeness levels—especially for the Cabernets. Cabernet Sauvignon leads with clarity and finesse, supported by a very expressive Petit Verdot that brings lift and freshness, while Merlot completes the blend with roundness. Lower alcohol levels and a fine tannic frame shape a harmonious, digestible and decidedly elegant wine—in the spirit of the great “fresh” vintages. A little different from the usual style, but just as charming.

The story begins in 1525 when the «village of La Lagune» was founded and transformed into a vineyard around 1587. The Chartreuse was then built between 1730 and 1855. Since her arrival in 2000, Caroline Frey and her team have instilled an energy whose key word is excellence.

Little brother of Château La Lagune, The Moulin stands out for its deliciousness. The blend always favours Merlot, which contributes to making a wine that is very tasty from the very first years. Viticulture, vinification and ageing are carried out with the same concern for perfection for the Moulin as for Château La Lagune, with the aim to preserve as much as possible of the finesse, elegance and balance of La Lagune, so characteristic of its terroir, while seeking richness in the vineyard.

The entire vineyard is certified organic and cultivated with respect for the soil and the living ecosystem.

The Bibi Graetz winery was founded in 2000 on the hill of Fiesole, overlooking Florence, where Bibi, who grew up in a family of artists, felt completely in love with wine and made of it his life.

Testamatta grapes are selected and sourced from the best 5 vineyards of the winery: Vincigliata, Londa, Lamole, Montefili, Siena. Each vineyard, divided in parcels, is harvested up to 8 times, making sure all the grapes are picked at the perfect ripening point. The 5 vineyards, characterized by very old age (up to 80 yrs) are located in different areas of Tuscany.

“Testa-Matta” in Italy is someone with a strong personality, a distinctive style and positive attitude and creativity. No other name could describe better Bibi
Graetz flagship wine. Supertuscan made with 100% Sangiovese from old vines, this wine is the result of the combination of tradition and creativity, elevating the idea of Tuscan Sangiovese and bringing the word “Supertuscan” to the next level.

Maison Trenel has always sought authenticity for both its fruit liqueurs and its wines. Authenticity of the fruit, authenticity of the terroir. The purest expression of their origins. Born from a love of its land with its Burgundy traditions, there are numerous similarities between Maison Trenel and M. Chapoutier, their shared love of excellence being the first.

The Coteaux Bourguignons AOP, created in 2011, covers the whole of the Burgundy wine region, extending down as far as the outskirts of Lyon. Trenel's Coteaux Bourguignons comes from vineyard plots in the Villefranche and Bois d'Oingt areas, limestone terroirs in southern Beaujolais. It is produced entirely from Gamay grapes grown on old, Gobelet-trained vines.

Trenel Coteaux Bourguignons 2024, made with carbonic maceration, is a burst of freshness and vitality with every sip.
