Founded in 1642, Mandan is the oldest wine estate in Chile and now listed by the government as one of the oldest historic buildings. Mandan is the name originally meant for the first tribe of American Indians, migrated from Siberia to the Americas more than 20,000 years ago, where they formed a unique culture there. Americans believe that the birds soaring in the sky have a sacred charm. In ancient sports or war, whoever wins will get a feather, which will be inserted into the hat as a prize and become a symbol of honor. The higher the number of feathers, the higher the bravery and the greater the prestige of war. APPEARANCE
Deep and intense ruby red with violet hints.

NOSE
Fruity and expressive, it shows cherry and raspberries notes complemented with soft spicy character and a vanilla touch coming from the oak ageing.

PALATE
Soft and mouthwatering, with notes of red berries flavors and vanilla and cinnamon hints in the long and clean aftertaste.

AGEING
15% of the wine was aged in French oak for 8 months.

PAIRING
Pairs well with pastas and white meat.

Kalfu means "Blue" in Mapudungun, the language of the aboriginal Mapuche people of the region. It represents the color that provides a myriad of sensations: blue, like the Pacific Ocean's intense blue; and blue, like the free sky, acting as an accomplice of and witness to the mysterious origins of life. Molu means West or “where the sun sets”. History tells us that the mapuche saw the stars in the sky over the Pacific Ocean and as the earth was rotating, they would hide in the sea and become starfish. APPEARANCE
Straw-colored yellow.

NOSE
With good tipicity it brings aromas of pineapple, papaya and mango, complemented with gentle notes of vanila and dry fruits.

PALATE
A well-rounded wine with good volume, a concentraded palate but fresh at the same time where vanilla and tropical fruit flavors intermingle. Long and clean finish.

AGEING
About 15% of the wine was aged in French oak for a period of 6 months.

PAIRING
Ideal to accompany fatty fish, pasta and white meats.
