The Dezzani Winery was founded in 1934 in Cocconato, in the province of Asti. The town is located 491 meters above sea level on the renowned Riviera del Monferrato. The history of our wines is closely linked to this territory, to its ideal microclimate for growing unique vineyards, and to its authentic tradition. The historical remains of Romanesque, Gothic, and medieval architecture frame the rows of Barbera, Albarossa, Cabernet, and Syrah, making the landscape even more captivating.

The name “8 Bucce” celebrates the uniqueness of this wine, crafted from a masterful blend of eight grape varieties. The native Piedmontese varieties, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Bonarda, and Albarossa, are elegantly combined with Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, lending depth, roundness, and structure. This wine reflects a vision where tradition and modernity merge into a timeless style, embracing a philosophy that honors native Piedmontese grapes while integrating international varieties to create unique and distinctive blends.

The historical remains of Romanesque, Gothic, and medieval architecture frame the rows of Barbera, Albarossa, Cabernet, and Syrah, making the landscape even more captivating.

The Piemonte DOC Bianco 4 Bucce is a unique wine crafted from a blend of four grape varieties: Cortese, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, and Timorasso, combining native Piedmontese varieties with international ones. The grapes, harvested at different times in September, are vinified at a controlled temperature. Cortese contributes freshness, Chardonnay brings notes of exotic fruit, while Timorasso and Sauvignon add complexity and minerality to the blend.

At the end of XIX century, Francesco Rocca started his historical business by bulk wine. In 1936 his son Angelo enhanced the wine production and built up a cellar in Nardò, Apulia. In the 1960's, Ernesto Rocca, Angelo’s son, bought the first bottling line and started the distribution of products under the Rocca brand. In 1999, infatuated with Apulia and vines, he bought a farm in Leverano, in the heart of Salento.

In 2009, Rocca Family becomes the major shareholder of the historical winery Dezzani in Piedmont realizing new commercial and productive synergies. Paolo, Marco, Luca and Matteo (Ernesto’s sons), sharing duties and responsibilities, run the family’s business, which includes also a building company and a leading trot horse stud farm.

“5 VITE” stands out for its extraordinary harmonious taste resulting from the complementarity of each grape varieties: the soft elegant tannins of Negroamaro, the dense texture of Nero di Troia and the delicate aroma of Malvasia Nera, blend perfectly with the authentic fruitness of Primitivo and the aromatic intensity of Susumaniello.
