Located in Odenas (Rhône), the Domaine de la Chaize extends over 250 hectares, including 99 hectares of vines, which makes it the largest property in one piece in Beaujolais cru. Today, the Château is the emblem of the most prestigious Beaujolais Cru estate.
This single-parcel cuvée comes from vines nestled on the western slope of Mont Brouilly. This Côte-de-Brouilly cru stands out for the uniqueness of its soil: the parcel, with slopes ranging from moderate to steep, features a highly porous surface soil with a high sand content, encouraging deep root penetration. APPEARANCE
A dark ruby with purple reflections.

NOSE
The nose is open on black and red fruits. The graphite presence is lighter, the wine is more based on the generosity of the fruits, where a sweeter and more stewed tone well defines the fruit.

PALATE
The palate is rich, opulent, with a full and pulpy heart. The whole is unifying with well-coated tannins. At this stage of youth, the quality of the fruit quenches the thirst.

AGEING
8 months in a oak vat.

PAIRING
Pair with all meats, chicken, mushrooms, and strong cheeses.

APPEARANCE
Bright ruby color.

NOSE
Fine and delicate nose, over very ripe red fruits and spices.

PALATE
The palate has a very delicate attack, red fruits, freshness, and balance. The finish is typical of the appellation, with earthy, soft tannins.

AGEING
100% in large wooden vats (foudres).

PAIRING
Delicious with Mediterranean dishes, roast chicken, duck breast, beef tartare, as well as vegetarian dishes. Excellent with classic French dishes in creamy sauces, pizza or Chinese cuisine.

APPEARANCE
Vibrant ruby red with purple reflections.

NOSE
A generous bouquet of redcurrant, wild blackberry, and morello cherry, accented by floral notes of violet or rose and a hint of black pepper.

PALATE
Silky and well-structured with a crunchy fruit profile. It features lively acidity and fine, velvety tannins that lead into a long, mineral-driven finish.

AGEING
Hand-harvested with semi-carbonic maceration and aged for approximately 9 months in a combination of concrete vats and large oak foudres.

PAIRING
Its high acidity and moderate tannins make it exceptionally versatile and suitable for grilled chicken, roasted turkey or roast beef. Pairs well with medium-aged cheeses or local specialties like Crottin de Chavignol.
