Nose of cherry and prune evolving on notes of forest floor and vanilla.
A lot of elegance and a structure of lovely finesse for this 2016, very nice aromatic and tasty vintage, fleshy with silky tannins.
The wine is aged in French oak barrels, toasted but not burnt, (50 % new and 50 % one year old) for 12 to 15 months.
Ideal with grilled meat or meat cooked in sauce, and most of the cheese.
