Terlato & Chapoutier L-Block Shiraz

The Terlato & Chapoutier domain is the French company’s third project in Australia, and the second domain in Victoria. Michel Chapoutier joined forces with the Terlato family (the company’s American distributor) in 2000 in the Great Western Victoria’s Pyrenees on clay- and gravel-intensive soil. Already 20 years into what has been a great adventure.

Intense, deep ruby colour with hints of violet.

NOSE
The nose is powerful and aromatic with aromas of black fruits and pepper.

PALATE
The palate begins with freshness, while the mid-palate discloses velvety tannins and the finish is full of flavour with notes of spice.

AGEING
100% of the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

PAIRING
Perfect with veal escalops in lemon sauce or white meat with figs.
