Schild Estate Chardonnay

Schild Estate Wines are created with an authenticity and passion that comes from generations of a family who have made their home in the Southern Barossa.

The Three Springs Vineyard is located alongside the original Schild Family Estate. Chardonnay from this block is blended with fruit from other local grape growers, which they grow exceptional chardonnay fruit with their mature vines on Church Road in the hills behind Rowland Flat.

APPEARANCE
Clear, bright and opaque in appearance.

NOSE
Aromas of lemon, lime citrus and a brief glimpse of floral perfume, showing balance and delicateness.

PALATE
On the palate, the wine shows a lightness on its feet and again flavours of citrus are very evident.
They are joined by a hint of fresh nectarine before a final sherbet lick arrives to complete the journey.
The wine finishes long and refreshing.

AGEING
Additional lees stirring is employed to add some roundness and depth before the wine is prepared for bottling.

PAIRING
Perfect with white meats and vegetables, such as Chicken and Mushroom Risotto.
